Terms of Service and Sale
Last updated: August 3, 2026
The terms governing access to and use of Comptyx: account, subscriptions, credits, free trial, billing and liability.
1. Purpose
These terms govern the use of Comptyx, a platform for extracting accounting documents and generating journal entries. By creating an account, you accept them.
2. Account and eligibility
Comptyx is intended for professionals (accounting firms, bookkeepers, finance teams). You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your credentials confidential.
3. Service description
Comptyx extracts data from invoices and accounting records, proposes double-entry journal entries and allows their export to various accounting and ERP formats. Results must be reviewed by a professional before being recorded.
4. Free trial, credits and subscriptions
The free plan allows processing of up to 30 invoices per month, with access to all export formats. Paid plans increase quotas and features.
Credits and quotas renew according to the cycle shown on the Pricing page.
5. Prices and billing
Current prices are shown on the Pricing page. Billing and collection are handled by Paddle, acting as Merchant of Record, which issues the invoice.
The currency actually charged may differ from the displayed currency; the amount charged is the one confirmed at the time of payment.
6. Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time; it remains active until the end of the period already paid for. Refund terms are set out in the Refund Policy.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service, to upload only documents you have the right to use, and not to harm the security or availability of the platform.
8. Intellectual property
Comptyx retains all rights to its platform. You retain all rights to the documents you upload and to the entries you export.
9. Availability and liability
The service is provided "as is", on a best-efforts basis. Comptyx cannot be held liable for accounting or tax decisions made on the basis of the results, which must be verified by a professional. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount paid over the past twelve months.
10. Personal data
The processing of your data is described in the Privacy Policy and on the "Data security and hosting" page.
11. Changes to the terms
We may amend these terms; material changes will be notified to you. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Moroccan law. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of Casablanca. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, this clause does not deprive you of the mandatory protections or the courts of your country of residence.
